Cove Agent has a full tool loop over the entire product. Tell it to add yesterday's fuel expense and the expense appears, categorized, in your books. Every action it takes streams into the conversation as it happens.
From sentence to record
It creates clients, invoices, expenses, sales, products, employees, leave, payroll records, tax payments and calendar events — from a single plain-language request.
Acts on what already exists
Mark an invoice paid, send it by email, convert a proforma, link a receipt to an invoice, or generate an HR document. The agent handles follow-up work, not just data entry.
Answers from your real numbers
It reads your invoices, expenses, revenue and tax summaries. Ask for a business summary and the answer comes from your data, not generalities.
More than one model
Cove runs on a multi-provider AI layer — Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini and OpenAI — with automatic retries and cross-provider failover. For harder requests the agent uses extended thinking before it acts.

The agent gathers your real data first, then draws it. Ask for revenue by month and it computes the series from your records, fills the empty periods, and renders it as a chart inside the conversation — stored with the message, so it is still there when you come back a week later.
Eleven chart types
Bar, line, area, pie, donut, radar, radial, scatter, composed, funnel, and treemap — the agent picks the one that fits the question.
Periods with no gaps
Group by day, week, month, quarter, or year with empty periods filled in — a month with no movement shows as zero instead of vanishing from the chart.
No invented figures
The chart is presentation only: every value comes from a prior query against your data. The server validates each spec and refuses to draw when the numbers don't hold up.
Or just say it out loud.
Hit the mic and talk. The recording is transcribed and appended to whatever you had already typed — it never replaces it. With no server-side transcription available, Cove falls back to the browser's own recognition, with live text as you speak.
Dictate instead of typing
Dictate the expense while you're out and review it before you send. Voice dictation is available from the VAT plan up.
Full screen when you need it
The panel expands from the side rail to the whole viewport with ⌘⇧J, and past chats become a permanent left list. Escape steps you back down.
Conversations are kept
Every conversation is stored with the charts and tool calls inside it. Close it and pick up exactly where you left off.

Whatever you would click through the dashboard to do, you can ask for instead — the agent streams every tool call as it runs, so you see exactly what is being created, updated or read.
Invoicing and clients
Drafts and sends invoices, marks them paid, converts proformas to final invoices and keeps client records complete with billing details.
Money and taxes
Logs expenses and revenue in the right category the moment you mention them, records tax payments and reads your tax summaries on demand.
HR, documents and calendar
Adds employees, records leave, creates payroll records, generates HR documents, uploads files to File Storage and schedules calendar events.
Your permissions are its permissions
Cove Agent is not a side door into your data. Every tool call runs under your account, with the same row-level security, role permissions and plan gates as the dashboard itself.
Bounded by your role
It inherits your access from Cove's 6-role, 20-permission model. If your account cannot do something, neither can the agent.
Every gate applies
Plan, capability and country gates are enforced exactly as they are in the dashboard — the agent takes no shortcuts.
Nothing happens silently
Each action appears in the conversation the moment it runs, so you always know what was created or changed.
Included in your plan
Agent conversations draw on your plan's monthly message allowance — from Free up, growing with the plan. The meter on the Billing page shows how much you've used.
Conversations that persist
Every conversation is saved. Close it, come back next week, and pick up exactly where you left off.
