Every email that reaches a connected mailbox is scanned for documents. The agent reads each attachment, works out what it is, and pulls out the data your books need. What lands in Cove is a structured draft — not a PDF you still have to type in.
Classified on arrival
Each attachment is recognized as an invoice or receipt — anything else is set aside.
Extracted field by field
Sender and receiver, line items, totals, VAT and due dates are read straight from the document.
Deduplicated twice over
A SHA-256 file hash catches exact copies; a vendor-amount-date fingerprint catches the same invoice sent in a different format.
Staged, never committed
Extractions wait in the approvals queue. An invoice or receipt becomes a record only when you approve it.

Sign in with OAuth for Gmail, Outlook or Zoho, or set up auto-forwarding for Titan. It takes a few minutes per mailbox.

Detect
New mail arrives by real-time push or polling. Attachments are classified, extracted and checked against everything already in Cove.

Approve
Open the approvals queue, review the extracted draft, and confirm. The expense or receipt is booked exactly as you approved it.

Nothing enters your books without you
Automation you cannot audit is a liability. That is why the email agent never writes to your records on its own — it prepares structured drafts, and the approvals queue is the only path to a record.

OAuth, never your password
Mailbox access is granted through OAuth — Cove never sees your password. Tokens are stored encrypted at rest and refreshed automatically, and you can disconnect a mailbox at any time.
